Wire-Wrapped Screen
Variperm’s proWRAP® sand control device (SCD) is a direct or slip on wire-wrapped screen positioned over top of a slotted or perforated base pipe. Longitudinal ‘rib wires’ are placed on the circumference of the pipe, whereby profiled ‘wrap wires’ are wrapped around the rib wires and contact welded in place to form a continuous helical slot along the screen section. proWRAP provides high mechanical strength and superior corrosion and plugging resistance.
proWRAP offers a variety of wire profiles, materials, and base pipe perforation and slotting patterns to ensure sand control performance meets the application. proWRAP is manufactured in an API Q1™ and ISO 9001:2015 certified facility using ISO Grade V1 Validation wire wrap.
