Variperm is looking for Quality Control Technicians for our screen and downhole tool manufacturing plant.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspection of received, work in progress & finished products to ensure compliance with Variperm’s quality requirements. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Control Technician is also responsible for maintaining the Variperm quality management system requirements at the manufacturing floor level.

We are looking for 4 individuals to work our 6:30 am - 6:30 pm shift & 6:30 pm - 6: 30 am shifts, in 4-day rotations.

Machine Operator

We are now seeking mechanically inclined Machine Operators to operate both semi-automatic and CNC controlled machinery used to fabricate downhole stainless-steel filter screens. These dedicated and hard-working individuals will load raw stainless-steel materials into semi-automatic, or CNC controlled, wire wrap machines, control settings, make adjustments as required, unload finished wire screen assemblies, and perform quality inspections. Forklift experience is preferred but not an asset. Shift work, as well as the ability to work regularly scheduled overtime will be required.

We are currently looking for individuals with experience setting up and operating Fanuc controlled CNC lathes to work on our afternoon shift in a busy machine shop.

Duties would include

  • Setup and operate Fanuc Control CNC Lathe
  • Adjusting offsets
  • Ensure product is made to spec
  • Filling out necessary paper work
  • Keeping work area and machine clean

Afternoon shift is Monday – Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am
